- Sets up the different types of products.
- Programs automated palletizing and cubing.
- Recognizes defects on the equipment.
- Stacks block by hand.
- Assist machine operator as needed.
- Communicates and report any issues to the supervisor or superintendent.
- Checks blocks for defects or contamination.
- Identifies poor quality and bad splits.
- Performs hand batching of any materials that are need it, checking for quality.
- Maintains a clean work area.
- Operates forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
- Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and
- governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported
- and corrected.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.
- High school education or equivalent
- On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
- Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
- Able to read the tape measure.
- Ability to operate forklift and any other equipment required to perform duties.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Predictable, and Regular attendance is required.
- Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms;
- Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up-to 100 pounds.
- Plant environment with loud noise, moving machinery, dusty, dirty.
- Outdoor weather conditions.
- Extreme temperatures.
- Wear mandatory and/or other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
